As many expected, today Salesforce has announced the launch of "Salesforce for Google Apps". The embargo was lifted at midnight and Mashable! and Techcrunch appeared to be first out of the gate with their coverage. The new product is available immediately to existing Salesforce customers (get started here) and includes tight integration with Gmail, Gtalk, Google Docs and Google Calendar.
